The Outlaw Code

Gangs are part of life in Redemption Ridge, but every encounter must leave room for meaningful roleplay. These county rules set the standards for gang formation, conflict, robberies, and the consequences of gang life.

01

Gang Size Limit

A gang may have a maximum of 15 members and must have at least 3 members to form. Players must have spent at least 48 hours (2 days) of playtime in the county before forming a gang.

02

Interaction Limits

Gang interactions are limited to 5 members from each side. Gangs may not collaborate to outnumber another gang. Interactions must remain fair.

04

Removal From a Gang

Members removed from a gang must roleplay forgetting their involvement with that gang and its members. A detailed removal roleplay is required so that both parties understand what has occurred.

07

Changing Gang Membership

A player must submit a ticket to leave their current gang roster. After leaving, they must wait 2 days before joining another gang. The new gang boss must also submit a ticket to add that player to the new roster.

08

Impersonation

Gang members may not switch colours or impersonate another gang, doctors, or lawmen. Violations result in permanent removal from gang life, with possible additional punishment for power-gaming.

03

Robbery & Hogtying

If a player is robbed and hogtied by a gang member, they may not alert police until freed. If shot, they should alert both police and doctors. For incidents without injuries, police should only be alerted if the player wishes to file a report.

05

Chain Robbing & Killing

Players and gangs may rob or kill one another only once per in-game day (45 minutes real time). The same restriction applies to stores, banks, and similar robberies. A gang may not rob the same establishment during its 45-minute cooldown.

06

Death Cooldown

A player who dies in a gang-related conflict may not participate in gang roleplay for the remainder of that in-game day, defined here as 1 hour real time. They must actively avoid gang-related involvement during this period.

09

After a Conflict

After a robbery or killing, gang members may not change clothing or switch characters for 1 hour. Fast travel is prohibited during this time so lawmen have a fair opportunity to locate them through roleplay.

10

Fort Raids

A gang must have at least 3 members present to initiate a fort raid. Gang members who initiate a raid must remain in the county. Leaving the county will result in an immediate ban.

11

Bank Robbery Limit

Gangs may not rob the same bank consecutively. A cooldown period is required between bank robberies.
